Ranting, Cursing & What the…
August 21, 2009
This is the 1st time that I felt so hopeless about myself over soccer. Yes, hopeless! I kept telling friends, ” Hey, chill chill. Its just a game, don’t let it affect you. ” But today, it ended up myself eating my own words. Seriously, to say it is really finitely many times easier than to do it, though I don’t know how many folds. Still, ‘disappointment’ is really the word I can described myself during and after the soccer match.
From the start to the end, heavy 1st touches, aimless shooting and errors kept happening to me. I was always wrong footed, always making wrong judgements and energy level was low all the time. My legs can already feel the pull and the sore even though I have only played for few minutes and did not commit any high risk tackles. Well, something was really abnormally wrong to me. I can’t stand it.
Disappointed, but still, not to the extend of getting pissed. After cooling down and clearing some thoughts, I told myself next time history shall not repeat itself.
Watch out! I’ll be back soon with my best form.
(Tired, its time to sleep)
Bye Bye Newcastle

Today perhaps is the last day that I am gonna to watch your match, because I am not sure when you will be up. Seriously, all went wrong, even the lady luck went to the opposition team. I really can’t imagine.
But down to earth, frankly speaking, you guys still lack the passion to play, and your play is simply just whack the ball up and let the pacy striker to chase or to let the physical presence of bigger players to hold. What is the point? This type of style is simply trying to find luck as well, isn’t it? Now come on, pick up your feelings, and come back another time. I will wait for you still.
I promise, unless you go down to administration, I will still be the loyal fan of yours. But never give up, because this is not your spirit.
P.S I Love U

Today, I went to NTUC supermarket to buy apples, after realizing my house don’t have any more fruits left, and I felt I was a bit lacking of vitamin C. Anyway, digress a bit. A tip for all the people queuing up for the atm at Yishun MRT, which is always that pack. There is actually DBS atm at basement of NTUC, whereby there is always no one utilizing it. It would probably take you a shorter waiting time by taking a walk down and come up.
And I was doing a second round of my summer cleaning of my house, after my trip back from the NTUC. Vacuuming and mopping the house really made my house looks cleaner. And I can say I really like the refreshing feeling of the whole house.
Doing nothing now, and I actually found a website that can kill your boredness at home. Check this out: http://tvokay.com
The movies are quite clear. But a pity they do not have subtitles. If you don’t mind that, you can enjoy yourself for the whole day. But nah nah.. I am not promoting piracy, just that if you are down to last resort without any entertainment, maybe you can try this. =p
Going to kick some soccer later on. Hopefully I won’t skid and fall too much on the slippery pitch.
Shall end off here.

Weekend roundup

I went to expo for the adidas sales. Guessed what… The sales there, I can say is horrible. When I reached there, I saw quite alot of people queuing up to get in. I thought it will be quite a big sale and there should be lots of discounted items. But once I went in, I was so disappointed. The items inside are so limited. Damn sad. Quite regretful for making my trip down there. 45 minutes bus 858 ride and 10 minutes MRT. Argh!… Go there to experience the human traffic only.
At night, wanted to watch soccer online. But the sopcast is down. I tried refreshing the channel for many times but the match just can’t be loaded. So sad. Nowadays, alot of internet streaming audios and videos are not working anymore. 1st, its internet radio. Then now, sopcast. Soon, there will be more. Maybe its telling me that I should start mugging now!
Today, I went to yckps to play soccer with Heng and Swee Yee. Seriously speaking, what is wrong with some people? As an observer, I always see the ugly side of many people, especially Ian. So what if he is rich? So what if the soccer pitch is under his charge? He can’t manipulate people and always bully those people that don’t voice out. So arrogant! Besides, there were people who kept giving sarcastic remarks, especially to people that they don’t know. I don’t know whether they talked about me, but that is not important. Important is that this is leisure soccer. What is there to get so intense and give people sarcastic remarks when people just made a simple mistake? As I can see, in that soccer match, no one is perfect at all. So, does it necessary to pinpoint everyone on their individual mistakes? The soccer match can actually be quite entertaining, but some of these incidents really spoil the whole mood. Hopefully, next time I went there to play, things will be changed.
Speaking about soccer, I wondered what will be the fate of Newcastle. It seems that Newcastle is on the verge of being relegated, and it was the 1st time that it happened since I supported it when I was in Primary 3 ( Hmm… about 14-15 years). Tough fixtures on the way, and I wondered how they are going to survive. Injuries hit, managerless, and now in the relegation zone. I hate to see that.
Another unbearable defeat

Seriously, I just can’t watch the ending. Right at the start, I had wanted to switch off the channel already. What are you doing? Totally outwitted, outbeaten, no fighting spirits at all.
I guessed I have been nice to watch up till 70+ minutes when you have trailed by 5-1. I am so disappointed! And I believed someone won’t be so cocky after back to back defeats.
Really dun understand why I still support Newcastle for so many years after all these.

Chelsea Victorious!
April 26, 2008
There are so many entertaining scenes in this Chelsea against Man Utd match, especially nearing towards the end of the match.
1st, Drogba and Ballack were fighting to take the free kick, and had to be pulled off by teammates. Essien, watching by the side, shaking his head. This is not the funny part. The funny part is when Ballack scored the penalty, they both hugged tightly together. Considered that they were involved in an argument in which required the coaching staff to calm them down, their reactions after that were so funny. You should look at their expressions.
Then, its Carvalho. He was such a letdown for that particular moment — for giving the ball to Rooney to equalize. When Ballack restored back the lead, he was the first to run to Ballack, cup his neck. Omg!! It seems like telling him, you have just saved my life!
Next, its Sheva. The man alot of people called him a flop. He, as a striker, made a goal-line clearance nearing the end of the match. He was so happy that he high ten with Ashley Cole, whom he also cleared the ball off the line a couple of minutes ago. I think this was the happiest time he has ever had in his Chelsea career. Good job Sheva!
All but not least, are the reactions of the managers, Ferguson and Grant. One red-faced, burst with anger, one black-faced, seemed lost, only when his side scored, he gave a punch up in the air.
Its so difficult to illustrate what had happened. But I guaranteed this is the match not to be missed. It brings not only excitement, surprised errors, but also the comical side of football. Lets face it for one day, Chelsea deserved to win for this day.
P.S I am just a soccer fan. I am neutral towards soccer powerhouse like Man Utd and Chelsea.
